After three decades of laying a strong foundation, SAIGON 9 Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company (SAIGON IX) has officially entered a new era with “The Journey Continues” The most distinctive aspect of the company’s future direction is its commitment to placing ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) at the heart of its strategy to develop a high quality and breakthrough project portfolio.
Social Responsibility as a Core Value
As part of the 30th Anniversary Gala, SAIGON IX brought the “S” (Social) element of the ESG framework to life through practical action. The company presented VND 100 million to education promotion funds in two key areas: Thu Duc Ward and Thoi An Ward.

Bringing Green Commitments to Life
To address the “E” (Environment) pillar of ESG, SAIGON IX is accelerating its green development strategy and enhancing quality of life through an ecosystem of projects that meet international standards. This vision was vividly brought to life through the interactive exhibition area in the foyer of the anniversary gala.
Here, numerous guests and investors had the opportunity to experience the space firsthand and explore information about two new strategic developments: the METRO IX Office and Commercial Complex and the PIER IX Thoi An Urban Villas.
Following the foundation established by PARK IX, the METRO IX Office and Commercial Complex located at the administrative center of Thu Duc Ward attracted significant attention with its green TOD (Transit Oriented Development) model. The project is designed to meet two stringent international standards simultaneously: EDGE Advanced and LEED Gold.
Guests experience the interactive area and explore information about the two strategic developments METRO IX and PIER IX.
Alongside METRO IX, PIER IX Thoi An represents another meaningful aspect of ESG through its focus on an ecological living environment. Located on a 30,000 square meter site along the lush Vam Thuat riverside park, the development features a resort style internal amenity ecosystem including a swimming pool, fitness facilities and a clubhouse. It brings to life the community building philosophy of “Strong Foundations, Peaceful Living and Growth” for affluent families.
The combination of practical education support and the exhibition of two green urban developments, METRO IX and PIER IX, at the event clearly demonstrated that SAIGON IX’s transformation at the age of 30 is more than a change in brand identity.
